  • Preparation: (Serves 6 persons)

    1. Add 1 tablespoon Oil in a pan and add 1 teaspoon Mustard, 1/2 teaspoon Fenugreek, 1 teaspoon Splitted Urad Dhal, few Curry Leaves, 3 Dry Red Chillies , 6 pieces crushed Garlic for tempering.

    2. Take Tamarind (size of a lemon) and add 3 Cups of water to it and make tamarind water. Pour this in the tempering.

    3. Then add 2 Tomatoes and let it boil. Add Salt to taste.

    4. In a bowl mix 1/2 cup water and 3 tablespoons of Kuruthammal Rasam Powder and pour it in. After pouring it do not bring it to boil again.

    4. Garnish with few Coriander Leaves and serve.

    5. Rasam is ready.
