  • Preparation: (Serves 7 - 8 persons)

    1) For tempering in a vessel add 3 tablespoon oil, 1 teaspoon Mustard,

    1 teaspoon Fenugreek, 1 teaspoon Splitted Urad Dhal , 4 Green Chilli and few Curry Leaves.

    2) Add 100gms Small Onions and Saute and add 1 Tomato.

    3) Take 50gms Tamarind, make it into tamarind water and pour it in.

    4) Add 4 tablespoons of Kuruthammal Fish Kulambu Masala, mix it well and bring it to boil.

    5) Then take 1 cup Coconut and make it into a fine paste. Now add into the coconut paste 6 Small Onions, few Curry Leaves and 1 teaspoon Jeera and grind it coarsely then pour it into the boiling mixture. Add Salt to taste.

    6) Add 50gms raw mango now and add 1kg Fish and close the lid halfway and let the fish cook in low flame.

    8) Garnish with some Coriander Leaves and Fish Kulambu is ready.
